Our camp is located in the heart of the rugged Canadian wilderness. The East shore of the Taltson River is your launch point to a great adventure. Surrounded by unique flora and fauna, filled with crisp clean air, and alive with the sound of water, the lodge is an out of the way natural environment that captures the essence of the great outdoors. Whether you’re coming back from a full day of angling or an evening of amazing Aurora viewing, you’ll find a comfortable camp that reflects the rustic beauty of the surrounding landscape.
With the landscape as our foundation, we continue to expand the camp’s lodgings and amenities. We’re currently planning a kitchen that will include two propane cook stoves, a table, chairs and a wood stove – all contained within a 12X28 tent frame.
For the fall, we’re planning to erect a 24X24 duplex log cabin that will be plumbed with running water, shower stalls, sinks and toilets. The washroom facilities will be housed in one half, and the other half will house the kitchen.
The North is truly an outdoor playground filled with great new discoveries and natural wonder. Our guests can make the most of it with our recreational vehicles. We have ATV’s, Skidoos, and boats and motors. The boats require a guide after fishing hours and involve a small fee. However, all other equipment can be used for free.
Guests are responsible to bring their own fishing gear, clothing, and personal products. We provide blankets and linens, but our visitors are more than welcome to bring their own.
If a guest plans on fishing, we sell licenses through Fort Smith.
